Dutch Bros is all about connecting to their community. Turns out, over 69% of GenZ - the majority of Dutch Bros target demographic - regularly enjoys anime. So Dutch Bros is partnering with anime streaming giant Crunchyroll to put a kawaii twist on their new line of matcha flavors. Throughout the year, Dutch Bros will debut a custom anime heroine for each matcha flavor, along with a full-length anime TV series.

A Matcha Secretive Girls anime will air once a month on Crunchyroll as a limited series inspired by Dutch Bros famous matcha concoctions. Matcha Secretive Girls will follow the life of Hayato, an average high school student, as he discovers an ancient battle between Matcha and Coffee. Each episode introduces Hayato to a new Secretive Girl as they battle manifestations of caffeinated energy.

Each month as their episode drops on Crunchyroll, the Matcha Secretive Girls will arrive in stores as a limited edition collectible cups that highlight their uniforms and personality. In addition, a drop of Blind Box MSG collectibles will show up in stores and online. About 85% of each shipment will contain the month’s highlighted girl, but the other 15% will include limited characters such as Big Sis, Coffee, and Hayato, as well as very rare drops of upcoming Secretive Girls.
